But they also had an essential accessory: the pocket watch. Rather than letting it drag around in a pocket, where it risked getting damaged, they stored it in this small, reinforced pocket, designed specifically for it.

Little by little, with the arrival of wristwatches, the primary use of this pocket disappeared. But strangely enough, it remained. Why? Simply because it is part of the DNA of jeans!
