Eggshells are “very valuable”: soak them in hot water and see what happens soon after!

You can reuse eggshells after eggshells,   grind them finely, and add them to the soil around your plants   , or use them as mulch around the roots.   Thanks to their high calcium content, eggshells are   essential for plant growth and the development of healthy, strong roots. Eggshells contain up to   93% calcium and 1% nitrogen   , vital elements   for the soil.

Eggshells are also useful   for maintaining the proper pH balance in the soil.   Before using them as fertilizer, be sure   to sterilize and clean them   to prevent the growth of bacteria or fungi. However, be careful   not to add them to the soil in very large quantities   to avoid the opposite effect.

To use eggshells properly, first   wash and dry them for at least 24 hours.   Then break them into small pieces that you can scatter on the soil between plants, in flowerbeds, in pots, or in the garden.
